I am passionate about helping people master the challenges that come with family transitions like divorce, separation, adoption, and guardianship. My work is informed by interests in child development, neuroscience, meditation, substance abuse and addiction, and depth, energy and eco-psychology. My degrees are in English Literature and Law, and I have always worked in law-related areas, including legal practice, adoption counseling, directing a Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program, and mediation.
I try to remember and to act like I share my spot on Earth with all the other animals, human and not-human, and to remember that work and money are important, but not all-important. Learning to be with family, friends, co-workers, and clients in ways that support us all continues to be my goal and my practice.
